Olivier Boscagli has made it clear to PSV Eindhoven that he will not be signing a new contract and is pushing to join Brighton ahead of Friday’s transfer deadline.

The 26-year-old defender has a year left on his contract PSV and Brighton are interested in taking him to the Premier League.

The Dutch giants have been trying to convince him to sign a new deal and recently offered him fresh terms.

However, according to Dutch daily De Telegraaf, the French defender has rejected the offer of a new contract from PSV.

The centre-back has made it clear to the club in no uncertain terms that he will not be signing a new deal with the club.

Interest from the Premier League has turned his head and he wants to complete a move to Brighton in the final two days of the transfer window.

The Seagulls have offered a deal worth €10m to PSV but the Dutch giants want more money.

PSV want at least €20m before agreeing to sell Boscagli who is hopeful that the two clubs will reach an agreement before Friday’s deadline.
