Celtic target Andy Irving also has interest from clubs in Austria and Spain, with the West Ham United midfielder a wanted man, according to ExWHUemployee.

The midfielder’s future is under the scanner heading into the final hours of the transfer window as clubs look to take him from the Hammers.

Celtic are putting in a big push to sign Irving and want him to move to Parkhead on a loan deal.

The Bhoys face serious competition for him though as sides in Austria and Spain also want to do a deal for the Hammers man.

Irving was on loan in Austria at Austria Klagenfurt last season and it is suggested that ‘big clubs’ in the country want him.

West Ham have been reluctant to sanction an exit, but Irving is down the pecking order under Julen Lopetegui.

That situation will become worse for Irving when West Ham complete the signing of Carlos Soler from Paris Saint-Germain.

All eyes will be on where Irving ends up when the window slams shut tonight.
