Ligue 1 outfit Nice are progressing well in talks to get their hands on Burnley attacker Mike Tresor.

The Belgian attacker joined Burnley last year on loan when the Clarets were a Premier League side.

They made his signing permanent this summer, but he could be out of Turf Moor by the end of the day.

It was suggested previously that Nice were looking at Tresor to bring in as the French side have injury problems with their attacking players.

Now according to French outlet Foot Mercato, the Ligue 1 side are progressing steadily with all parties in their talks to sign the Belgian.

Tresor played 19 times for the Clarets last season but failed to register any goal contributions for them.

The 25-year-old Belgian missed a chunk of the previous season due to hamstring injury and he is yet to feature for Scott Parker’s side this term.

Nice have a race against time in their chase for Tresor as the transfer window is set to close tonight for clubs in France.
