Isaac Schmidt’s management team, SBE Management, has shared photos of Leeds United on their Instagram story.
The Whites have been working hard on a deal to sign the full-back from Swiss side St Gallen on deadline day.
Schmidt though played and scored for St Gallen in their European qualifier against Trabzonspor in Turkey last night.
While a deal was done between the two clubs, Schmidt and his management team having to make their way from Turkey to Leeds meant the deal took time.
The player only arrived in the afternoon, but it appears the move is still well on track towards being completed though.
Schmidt is represented by SBE Management and they shared three photos from Leeds on their Instagram story just 20 minutes ago.
One was a look at the Elland Road pitch.
Leeds look firmly on course to complete the signing of the Swiss full-back today and will put him at the disposal of Daniel Farke.
