Victor Osimhen will not join Chelsea and is staying at Napoli.
Chelsea have been working on a possible deal to bring Osimhen to Stamford Bridge on deadline day, while Saudi Arabian sides have also been working on the transfer.
Napoli have been keen for Osimhen to move on given his substantial salary and Chelsea were hoping to be his destination despite not being able to offer him as much as Saudi sides have put on the table.
The striker though has made a decision and, according to French radio station RMC, he is not moving.
Osimhen has decided that he is going to stay at Napoli.
The striker wants to stay at Napoli for the season and unless there is a dramatic turnaround then that is what he is doing.
The transfer window in Saudi Arabia is open until 2nd September and clubs from the country could make renewed attempts to convince Osimhen.
The striker though is not moving to Chelsea on deadline day.
