West Ham are still in talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a deal for Carlos Soler after the Hammers changed the terms at the last minute, according to journalist Duncan Castles.

Soler is set to travel to England and has PSG’s permission to undergo a medical with West Ham later this afternoon.

However, an agreement is still not in place between the two clubs for the Spaniard’s move to the London Stadium.

It has been claimed that negotiations are still ongoing after West Ham switched the terms of the deal.

The Hammers were in talks to sign him on a permanent deal and are now working to sign him on loan.

Fresh terms are being discussed while West Ham are keen to have an option to buy instead of an obligatory purchase clause.

There is optimism that everything will be finalised for Soler to join West Ham before the window closes tonight.

He has been the top target for West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui who has discarded other alternative options.
