Wolves have made an enquiry to Chelsea for their defender Trevoh Chloabah, according to London World.
The Molineux outfit have lost two of their star players, Pedro Neto and Max Kilman to fellow top-flight sides this summer.
Despite selling them for a significant amount of sum, Wolves have been working with an tight budget, but boss Gary O’Neil wants another centre-back.
Even though they have signed young central defender Bastien Meupiyou from French side Nantes, he is set to join the Under-21 side of Wolves.
Wolves tried to bring in Dara O’Shea but he joined Ipswich Town instead.
Now they have made an enquiry for Chelsea’s out-of-favour defender Chalobah in the last few hours.
The 25-year-old defender, who came through the youth ranks of Chelsea, has been deemed surplus to requirements by Enzo Maresca.
Chalobah, though, will not be taking a hasty decision even if it costs him first-team football until January.
