Hull City boss Tim Walter has stressed that his team have a good chance of winning on Friday against Sheffield United if they stick together and play their game.

Under the management of Chris Wilder, Sheffield United are looking to get back to the Premier League this season.

The Blades are currently unbeaten in the Championship and they are set to travel to the MKM Stadium on Friday night to take Walter’s Hull City.

Hull boss Walter admitted that Wilder’s Sheffield United are a good side but stated that they will do everything to beat their Yorkshire rivals.

Walter is also confident that if Hull can play their natural game while displaying unity on the pitch, they have a good chance to prevail over the Blades.

“They’re a good team, but that’s also a reason why they are now in the Championship again”, Walter told Hull Live.

“For us, every game is exciting.

“If we play like we want to play and if we stick together, we have a good chance to win, but we know it’s hard work on Friday evening, especially in a duel with the rival.

“It’s [Sheffield] not far away, so it’s a derby, but for us, it’s a home game and we try everything to win this game.”

Sheffield United have won on their last three visits at MKM Stadium and the Blades will be determined to register their fourth win in a row on Hull’s home turf.
