Former Hibernian attacker Tam McManus has pointed out that Rangers have some issues and believes they are looking vulnerable, ahead of a clash with Hibs this weekend.

Rangers have had a slow start to the season and Philippe Clement’s side are already five points behind league toppers Celtic.

After a 3-0 defeat at the hands of their city rivals Celtic, Rangers have managed to bounce back with back-to-back wins and at the weekend they will face Hibernian in the league.

Rangers have not lost to Hibs in their last ten encounters and McManus believes that it is time for the Easter Road outfit to change that record.

The former Hibs star admitted that Clement has steadied the ship after the defeat against Celtic but he insisted that Rangers still have issues and they are looking vulnerable.

“It’s about time they [Hibs] changed the record”, McManus wrote in his Daily Record column.

“Here we are and you get the feeling Rangers are vulnerable again.

“They have steadied the ship after being hammered by Celtic and it was a comfortable win for them in the League Cup against Dundee.

“But you sense there are still issues there.

Rangers will face Malmo on Thursday in their Europa League league stage opener before welcoming Hibs at Ibrox at the weekend.
