Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Rohl believes that Portsmouth have shown difference faces this season, but is focused on the Owls showing their identity at Fratton Park.

The Owls have stabilised in recent games after making an initial shaky start to the season as they have gathered eight points in their last five games.

Sheffield Wednesday will face newly promoted outfit Portsmouth on Friday night and want three points from their trip south.

John Mousinho’s side are currently sitting rock bottom in the league table, but they have lost only one of their last three games.

Rohl stressed that even though Portsmouth are hard to predict at the moment, he made it clear that he is not worried about Pompey’s form.

“Portsmouth have shown different faces over the last two games, but for us, we go there wanting to play our game, with our principles, we have a lot of energy”, Rohl told a press conference about Pompey.

“Sometimes you have not a good feeling after a game but we must look to the performance.

“For me the cup is not half empty, it’s half full and with this mindset, we go into the next games.”

Sheffield Wednesday won 1-0 on their last visit to Fratton Park, which came last year in a League One clash.
