Huddersfield Town star Josh Ruffels thinks that West Ham United loanee Callum Marshall’s effort and work rate helped the Terriers seal the win against Leyton Orient.

The 19-year-old centre-forward is highly rated at West Ham and he joined League One outfit Huddersfield Town on a season-long loan.

Marshall has featured 15 times for Huddersfield Town in League One, starting eleven games for them so far.

On Tuesday, the West Ham loanee came off the bench in the 76th minute of the game against Leyton Orient and scored Huddersfield’s second goal in the dying minutes to secure their victory away from home.

Ruffels admitted that Hammers starlet Marshall showcased his work rate coming off the bench to seal three points from them with his goal.

“Going away anywhere and getting a result and a clean sheet is huge, so we are really happy”, Ruffels told Huddersfield TV.

“We could have softened and made it easier for us but made it slightly difficult for us.

“Callum and his work rate have kind of sealed the deal and in the end we are really happy.”

The West Ham loanee has scored four times for Huddersfield in all competitions and he will be hoping to start finding the net regularly to impress Hammers boss Julen Lopetegui.
