Kaka feels that coach Clarence Seedorf cannot do much more to coax match-winning performances from AC Milan, with the Dutchman doing all he can.

Seedorf succeeded Massimiliano Allegri as Rossoneri boss in mid-January, but has failed to significantly improve the team's performances, presiding over a Champions League Round of 16 exit to Atletico Madrid, while the side still sit just 13th in Serie A.

Brazilian midfielder Kaka however has come to Seedorf's defence in the face of mounting pressure.

"In difficult times like these it is important to remain calm", he told Sport Mediaset.

"The players have to stand up now. Milan are a great club that deserve success.

"In the dressing room everyone is fully behind the coach.

"He cannot do much more, the players have not done it in recent weeks.

"Seedorf from now on wants us to be committed on the path upwards, and we want that too."
