Tottenham Hotspur defender Jan Vertonghen believes his side's Sunday opponents Liverpool have a good chance of winning the Premier League title this season.
However Vertonghen, who played alongside Liverpool's leading goalscorer Luis Suarez at Ajax, is relishing the challenge of locking horns with the Reds and the Uruguayan in particular.

Vertonghen told his club's site: "Liverpool have a good chance to win the title.
"They’ve got some difficult games to come but they look very strong at the moment. It will be a tough test but we are ready for it."

And while facing Suarez would be enough to give many defenders nightmares, given the Liverpool striker has scored 28 times in the Premier League this season, Vertonghen is not in that club and can't wait to play against the former Groningen star.
"Suarez is an unbelievable player, but I love to play against the best strikers in the world and obviously he is up there", the Belgian said.
"I played with him for a couple of years at Ajax and even then he was pretty impressive."
