Manchester United are preparing to rekindle their interest in Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado when the transfer window swings back open in January.

The Red Devils chased Cuadrado over the summer, along with Barcelona, but backed out of doing a deal due to Fiorentina's asking price for the Colombia World Cup star.

However, according to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport, talks over a new contract between Cuadrado and Fiorentina are not progressing well.

And Manchester United are ready to take advantage of the situation with a new year bid.

The Red Devils are accumulating a fearsome attacking group of players and Cuadrado would be yet another arrow in manager Louis van Gaal's bow.
