Juventus are keeping a close eye on Fiorentina full-back Micah Richards and are set to meet his representative in the next few weeks.

The 26-year-old joined the Florence-based club from Manchester City on a season-long loan deal this summer.




With his contract with Manchester City expiring at the end of this season, the player will be available on a free transfer, making him a hot property in the market.

And Juventus are keen to pounce on the opportunity to sign Richards before Fiorentina can agree a permanent deal.
 


They are keeping a close eye on proceeding in Florence and are set to hold a meeting with one of the Englishman's representatives, according to Tuttosport.

Juventus are believed to be ready to offer a lucratuve contract to the full-back and it remains to be seen whether Fiorentina will be keen to get into a financial tussle with the Italian champions next summer.

The full-back has clocked up six appearances for Fiorentina, who are eleventh in the league table on ten points.
