Neil Redfearn says he is convinced that Leeds United striker Steve Morison will soon end his goalscoring drought and has vowed to tough it out on behalf of the 31-year-old.
Morison's performance in Leeds' 1-0 win over Millwall on Saturday delighted Redfearn, but yet again the striker failed to find the back of the net.
He has yet to score this season, but has started Leeds' last six games, a run which has seen the side win four, draw one and lose one, playing a key role as the side's target man.
Redfearn though is keeping the faith and is convinced that Morison will soon break his duck.
The Leeds boss told a press conference: "No [I don’t think it will get to him because] I think he'll score. I genuinely believe he'll score.

"I said before when it wasn't so good that I have to be tough, tough for the team.
"Sometimes you've got to be tough for individuals and I think Steve Morison is a case in point.
"I thought he was outstanding [against Millwall], he worked hard, he led the line."
Morison's scoring task will get no easier next weekend when Leeds face a daunting trip to promotion contenders Middlesbrough.
Leeds will take comfort however from the fact that they have won three of their last five trips to the Riverside Stadium.
