Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Montella expects an open game when his side take on Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League tomorrow.

The first leg of the tie played at White Hart Lane last week ended in a 1-1 draw. A sixth minute strike from Roberto Soldado put the hosts ahead before Jose Maria Basanta snatched an important away goal in the 36th minute for the Italians.

Both teams head into the match on the back of draws in their last league fixtures. Spurs salvaged a hard-fought 2-2 draw against West Ham United, whereas La Viola were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Torino.

With the cushion of an away goal under their belt, Montella’s side will start the match on a strong footing.

The Italian expects an open game in the tie as Mauricio Pochettino’s side will look get an away goal to cancel out La Viola's effort in England.
