Former Fiorentina striker Enrico Chiesa feels that Mohamed Salah is better for his old club that Juan Cuadrado.
Fiorentina sold Cuadrado to Chelsea in the winter transfer window, but drove a hard bargain with the English side which included taking Salah on loan for the remainder of the season to fill the void left by the Colombian.
And Chiesa feels La Viola have more than succeeded, with Salah a valuable addition who has already shown his quality.
The Egyptian has scored three goals in four Serie A games so far, also chipping in with three assists. Salah also helped fire Fiorentina through to the Europa League last 16, scoring in the Italian side's 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur last week.
"He is really a great buy", Chiesa told Tutto Mercato.

"He has shown determination, aggression, quality. So he definitely is a player that is right for this team.
"He surprised everyone. Many did not expect to see him explode too soon.
"Surely he is more incisive [than Cuadrado].
"And more attacking than the Colombian, while also marking more.
"He has everything to be the winger in a 4-3-3 or the second striker alongside [Mario] Gomez and [Khouma] Babacar."
While Salah has been helping Fiorentina to continue their charge for a top three Champions League finish in Serie A, Cuadrado has just picked up his first piece of silverware with Chelsea, picking up the League Cup on Sunday.
