Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera feels that the FA Cup presents a big chance for the Red Devils to win a trophy this season.
Louis van Gaal’s side will take on Arsenal in the quarter-final of the FA Cup at Old Trafford on Monday, facing a stiff test from the holders, Arsene Wenger's men having won the trophy last season.
Herrera, who arrived at Manchester United from Spanish La Liga outfit Athletic Bilbao at the start of the current season, has made 20 appearances in all competitions so far. He has scored five times and assisted a further four goals.
After limited appearances under the Dutchman earlier in the season, Herrera has been featuring more regularly in Manchester United’s starting eleven. He has started their last three Premier League matches.
With ten rounds of matches to go, the Red Devils are ten points adrift of Premier League leaders Chelsea and the title appears beyond the reach of Van Gaal’s men.

In the prevailing circumstances, the midfielder feels that the prestigious domestic cup remains his biggest chance for silverware in his first season in England.
“Now we are looking forward to our match in the FA Cup because it's a very big chance to win a trophy this season”, Herrera told MUTV.
However, he refused to underestimate the challenge posed by Arsene Wenger’s side, who have a point more than Manchester United in the league as both sides look to seal a spot in next season’s Champions League.
“But we have to respect Arsenal because they are playing very well.”
The Spaniard added that playing on their home ground will give Manchester United’s chances a big boost in their FA Cup aspirations.
“We are Manchester United and we are not afraid.
“We are going to play in front of our fans and we need them [for us] to win.”
