Despite losing to Crystal Palace last night, Manuel Pellegrini has stressed that he is still not concerned about his job at Manchester City.

The 2-1 away loss to Alan Pardew’s men has further dented Manchester City’s hopes of retaining the league title this season and they are now currently fourth in the league table, nine points off league leaders Chelsea.

Many felt that Manchester City’s performance in the business end of the campaign would have a bearing in Pellegrini’s fate in the Etihad dugout.

With the title looking a distant dream at the moment, Manchester City are facing the prospect of finishing the season empty handed and there is speculation that the Chilean’s days at the club are numbered.

However, the Manchester City boss is not concerned about his job at the Etihad. Though he admits that his team are going through a tough phase, the Chilean insists he is not too worried about his position at the club.
