The agent of defender Kostas Manolas has thrown the ball over Arsenal's interest in his client to Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini, while telling the Gunners it is the Italians with whom they must deal if they want the 23-year-old.
The Greece international currently plies his trade with Roma, a side he linked up with from Olympiacos last year.
Manolas has been mooted as being a target for Arsene Wenger's Arsenal side, but his agent says that any questions in that regard should be directed to Sabatini.
Ioannis Evangelopoulos was asked about Arsenal links by Tutto Mercato and replied: "We should ask Sabatini if that interest is real.
"Kostas is a Roma player and anyone who wants to sign him will have to speak to the club.

"What I can say is that the boy has a contract until 2019. We are very pleased with his approach to Serie A and I expected a positive impact as well."
The 23-year-old cost Roma a fee of around €15m to snap up from Olympiacos last summer and put pen to paper on a five-year contract at the Stadio Olimpico.
Manolas was also linked with several other sides before settling on Roma, a group which included the club's Serie A rivals Juventus.
So far this season he has made 23 appearances in Serie A for the Giallorossi.
