Leeds United head coach Neil Redfearn accepts that events at the club have burst the bubble at Elland Road, after his side went down to a third consecutive defeat, losing 2-1 to Cardiff City.
Redfearn was scathing about his side's performance after the match and insisted it was not acceptable. The 49-year-old kept his troops in the dressing room for an extended period post-match for a comprehensive dressing down.
Leeds had been on a run of five games unbeaten before Redfearn's assistant Steve Thompson was suspended on 2nd April. Redfearn was not informed prior to his suspension and Leeds have lost all three of the games they have played since. Chief operating officer Matt Child also recently left his post.
Redfearn admits that the situation is tough and claims the momentum at Elland Road is now gone.
"It's tough. We've gone on a great run, things have happened and it's like the bubble's burst. But we've got to try and get it back", he told BBC Radio Leeds.

However, the head coach says he has told the players they must not allow the season to end on a disappointing note.
"I've just said whatever happens at this football club for me, I'm only interested in them [the players] in there. What I don't want is this season to fizzle out for them because they've worked hard for me and Steve."
Leeds are next in action at home against Norwich City on Tuesday evening.
