Inter Milan president Erick Thohir has indicated his club’s interest in acquiring the services of Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure this summer.
Roberto Mancini is desperate to bring the Ivorian midfielder to the San Siro this summer and believe his possible signing would galvanise the Inter team next season.
The Inter hierarchy are working hard behind the scenes to cobble together an offer and fulfil Mancini’s wishes of reuniting with the Manchester City midfielder in Italy.
The Nerazzurri are aware that they need to climb a financial mountain to bring Toure to Italy and are looking at various options to make the deal happen.
Inter president Thohir is playing a key role behind the project to bring Toure to the club this summer and revealed his interest in the player.
