Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has revealed that his club have not yet received any official offer from Italian giants Juventus for playmaker Mario Gotze.

The 23-year-old has struggled to establish himself as a first team regular at the Allianz Arena, in spite of having managed a total of 93 appearances for the Bavarians in the course of the last two seasons.

The player's agent has also been critical about manager Pep Guardiola's treatment of his client.

The club on their behalf though have remained adamant about their no sale stance, insisting that Gotze will stay and fight for his place in the team, in spite of rousing interest from teams such as Arsenal and Juventus.

Rummenigge has now come out yet again to clarify the player's future, insisting that he has an impression that the player wants to stay and if he was his agent, he would advise Gotze to stay and give his best for Bayern Munich.

"I do not know if Juventus are in contact with him", Rummenigge told German magazine Kicker.

"I have the impression that Mario wants to stay. If I was his agent I would advise him to stay and give his best for Bayern Munich."

On whether he has been approached by Gotze or his agent or as a matter of fact Juventus, the 59-year-old added: "Neither he nor his agent came to talk to me, there has been no official request from Juventus either."
