Sam Byram feels that Leeds United have a stronger squad than Cardiff City and as a result should be looking to quickly push up into the top ten in the Championship.
Leeds ended a dismal run of not having won at Elland Road for over seven months when they defeated Cardiff 1-0 earlier this week, via a stunning long-range Alex Mowatt strike.
Despite the defeat, Cardiff still sit ninth in the Championship standings and as Byram views Leeds as better than the Welsh side he sees no reason why the Whites cannot enjoy a similar lofty position.
Asked about what Leeds can aim for this term, Byram told LUTV: "Personally, I think if you look at the likes of Cardiff, who we've just beaten, if they are around ninth place, tenth place, I think the quality in our squad, we've got better players than Cardiff.
"So there's no reason why we can't get into the top ten", the defender continued.

"If we get a run of results together, there's no reason why we can't be pushing up the table."
Leeds are bidding to follow up on their victory over Cardiff by putting rivals Huddersfield Town to the sword on Saturday.
The Whites currently sit 18th in the Championship, just one point and one place better off than opponents Huddersfield.
