Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed that their number one striker Sergio Aguero will be fit to play in tomorrow's match against Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium.
Aguero has been out of the team over the course of their last seven matches after suffering from a hamstring injury during an international break.
The striker was in superb form prior to his injury, having hit five in the space of 20 minutes against Newcastle United during his last outing.
The return of the Argentine will therefore help boost the confidence of a team that failed to find the back of the net in their last league encounter against Aston Villa.
There is no such good news as far as the other injury absentees are concerned with attacking midfielder David Silva, midfielder Samir Nasri, striker Wilfried Bony and defender Vincent Kompany all being sidelined.

“Sergio is fit – he’s ready to come back”, Pellegrini told his club's official website.
“David continues with some small sprain in his ankle so it’s a risk for him to play. Unfortunately also, Samir Nasri is injured. Bony and Vincent Kompany are also injured.
“One of the merits of this team is not just to depend on one player, but of course our team is better with Sergio.”
