Leeds United striker Chris Wood admits he splits opinion amongst the club's supporters, but has vowed to let his goals do the talking.
Wood had a good chance yesterday against Rotherham United, but could not direct his header, as the Whites slipped to a damaging 1-0 home defeat to Neil Redfearn's men.
The New Zealand international has six goals to his name for Leeds this season, but knows he is the subject of much scrutiny due to his £3m transfer fee in the summer.
Wood is aware some Leeds fans do not rate him highly, but wants his goals to win over the doubters.
"Hopefully my goals will speak for themselves come the end of the season", Wood said on BBC Radio Leeds.

"I know I'm not going to be everyone's cup of tea because I'm a bigger man and I might not be able to get around the pitch as much as a smaller striker can.
"But I will always give 100 per cent effort and make sure I am ready every game of the season. Hopefully my goals will do the talking."
Wood has been regularly given the nod to play up front alongside Mirco Antenucci by new Leeds head coach Steve Evans and there is little sign the Scottish boss will drop the New Zealander for next weekend's trip to Loftus Road to play QPR.
