Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that defender Jan Vertonghen and striker Clinton N'Jie will be out for their match against Manchester City this weekend.
Vertonghen, who has featured heavily for the north Londoners this season, managing a total of 23 appearances so far, has missed their last two league matches against Norwich and Watford with a knee injury, requiring Kevin Wimmer to stand in.
Cameroon international N'Jie on the other hand has been a long term absentee and had in fact managed his last Premier League appearance against West Bromwich Albion back in December.
The good news for the young manager though will be the fact that the rest of his squad is fit and will be available to take on the league title contenders.
"We are still without Clinton and Jan Vertonghen. The rest of the squad is fit which is good news", Pochettino said at the pre-match press conference.
