Rangers right-back James Tavernier admits that his side were not at their best earlier today in a 1-0 win away at Queen of the South, but has paid tribute to the Gers fans.
Mark Warburton's men needed a wonder strike from Kenny Miller, a dipping volley just after the hour mark, to run out with all three points from the Scottish Championship encounter.
However, Queen of the South threw everything at Rangers for the final 20 minutes in search of an equaliser and the Gers struggled.
They held on though, which for Tavernier is the main thing.
He took to Twitter to write: "Not the greatest of wins but we kept a clean sheet and got the 3 points. Great strike from Kenny."

The defender also paid tribute to the Rangers fans who made the journey to support the team, dubbing them "amazing".
He said: "Fans were amazing yet again."
And Tavernier's words were echoed by goalkeeper Wes Foderingham, who wrote: "Not the greatest performance but 3 points is the most important thing. What a strike by Kenny. Fans superb again."
Rangers have maintained their eight-point lead at the top of the table, after Hibernian beat Alloa Athletic 3-0 earlier in the day.
