Leeds United head coach Steve Evans has confirmed that winger Mustapha Carayol has returned to full training following his injury.
The 27-year-old joined the Whites from Middlesbrough on loan until the end of the season in January, and made an immediate impact for Steve Evans’ men with his creativity from the wings.
However, he was recuperating from an injury and has not taken part in their last three games in all competitions, but Evans revealed that the winger returned to full training with the squad yesterday.
While he wants to name Carayol in the travelling squad for Brighton on Monday, Evans is not sure how big a role the winger will play, but is certain that he will be back in the team for their home game against Bolton a week from today.
The Leeds boss said in a press conference: “He is coming back into full training today.

“So that’s good news but Brighton’s going to be a stretch too far [for him to start]. We will look at that on Sunday and Monday, but if not Brighton, then certainly for Bolton.
“Hopefully we can get him on the travelling party to Brighton on Sunday.”
Carayol has made seven appearances for Leeds in all competitions since joining the club, and also has two goals to his name.
