Charlie Taylor's agent had been due to hold a meeting with Leeds United chairman Massimo Cellino and CEO Ben Mansford last week, but failed to show up, it has been claimed.
The left-back's agent slapped in a transfer request on behalf of his client at the weekend as Taylor looks for a way out of Elland Road this summer amid interest from Premier League clubs.
Taylor has been linked with Burnley, Middlesbrough and West Brom and has just a further year left on his contract with Leeds – he has refused to sign an extension.
Relations between Leeds and his agent have gone downhill and according to TV Yorkshire, a meeting between the agent and Cellino and Mansford had been due to take place last week.
But Taylor's agent did not show up at the meeting, something which further damaged relations between the two parties.

Leeds have vowed not to sell Taylor this month, despite his contractual situation.
However, the Whites could yet have a rethink if substantial bids come in from Premier League clubs before the transfer window slams shut.
