Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger is still hopeful of having a future at Old Trafford, and is keen to wear their shirt again this season.

The 31-year-old midfielder has been frozen out of the first team squad by Jose Mourinho, and the Manchester United manager sees little possibility of the midfielder playing again for the Red Devils this season.

Schweinsteiger has made it clear that Manchester United will be his last club in Europe, and it seems the midfielder is ready to fight for his future at Old Trafford, despite the club wanting to offload him.

The midfielder reiterated his desire to continue wearing the Manchester United colours, stressing that he has no problems with Mourinho, and is still hopeful of playing for him this season.

He said in a press conference: "My absolute dream would be to play for Manchester United and help them to achieve their goals.
