A Lazio spokesman has indicated that the club will not be selling Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic this summer.

Manchester United have long been linked with having an interest in the Serbian midfielder, but are unable to move now due to the Premier League choosing to close its transfer window early.

Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with the highly rated midfielder, and the window in both Spain and France is still open.

But nevertheless, it looks increasingly likely that Milinkovic-Savic will continue at the Stadio Olimpico.

Arturo Diaconale, a spokesman from Lazio, revealed that the club have rejected offers for the midfielder this summer and it is highly unlikely that the Serbian will leave before the end of the month.

Asked if Milinkovic-Savic can still leave Lazio, he told Radio Radio Tv: “We can exclude that, 99 per cent.

“I know that the president has rejected good offers for him.”

Lazio’s rumoured asking price of around €150m has been a key reason behind clubs not pushing to land Milinkovic-Savic this summer.
