Lyon president Jean Michel-Aulas has confirmed that he has already received offers worth well over €50m for Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City target Tanguy Ndombele, however it does not mean he will sell.

Ndombele, who made his senior debut for France in October, has been under the watchful eyes of both Tottenham and Manchester City since last summer.

However, Lyon were under no inclination to cash in on the player as the Frenchman opted against leaving Ligue 1 for the glamour of the Premier League.

Despite falling short of convincing Ndombele to make the switch in the summer, both Spurs and Manchester City have maintained their interest in the player during recent months.

The 21-year-old central-midfielder has gone from strength to strength both domestically and in Europe since the beginning of the 2018/19 season, while also extending his contract until 2023.

Aulas, who was asked about the estimated value of Ndombele during a press conference, revealed that the club have already received offers well above €50m for the midfielder.

Furthermore, the club president went on to comment that the big money offered for Ndombele does not mean that Lyon are preparing to cash in on the player by recalling his long-term contract with the Ligue 1 outfit.

Ndombele is one of several talented players, including the likes of Houssem Aouar and Ferland Mendy, from Lyon to have courted interest from European clubs so far this term.
