Dalot has made three substitute appearances in the Premier League this season and has mostly spent his time warming the bench at Old Trafford in the ongoing campaign.

Despite Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s inconsistent form, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been reluctant to shake things up at right-back and the Portuguese has played very little football.

Roma are interested in getting their hands on Dalot and want to sign him on loan with an option to buy in the winter transfer window.

But it has been claimed Dalot is still hopeful of being in the first-team picture more regularly at Old Trafford in the second half of the season.

There are no guarantees that Solskjaer will be in charge of the club by the time the winter transfer window rolls out.

And there was increasing criticism around Wan-Bissaka’s performances before the international break.

Dalot is confident that he could get his chance to impress more regularly in the coming weeks.

The Portuguese spent last season on loan at AC Milan but for the moment, he wants to fight for a place in the Manchester United team.
