Summerville is wanted by German side Hamburg and has sent signals to the club that he would be interested in making the switch before the transfer window shuts.

Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa though is not keen on letting the Dutchman go, with his already small squad having been stretched thin due to injuries.

However, there could be some movement, with Leeds now assessing their options in the event that they decide to let Summerville go.

Cody Drameh forced an exit from Leeds earlier this month to join Cardiff City when Bielsa favoured keeping him at Elland Road.

All eyes will be on whether Summerville chooses to take a similar approach and makes clear to Bielsa that he wants to join Hamburg.

Leeds currently sit in 15th in the Premier League table and seven points above the drop zone.

They do not play again until after the transfer window has closed and the jury is out on whether Summerville will still be at the club when the window shuts.
