Tosun arrived at Goodison Park in January 2018 from Turkish giants Besiktas, but has struggled to impress so far in his Toffees career.

The striker has had two loan spells away from Everton since joining the club, but is currently part of Frank Lampard’s squad, although he has remained a fringe player.

Everton were open to letting Tosun go in recent transfer windows but no move materialised with his current deal is set to expire in the summer.

The Turk’s former club Besiktas are keen to snap him up in the summer when he will be available on a free transfer.

However, according to Turkish daily Takvim, Besiktas are set to face strong competition for Tosun’s signature at the end of this season as Saudi Arabia side Al-Hilal are eyeing snapping him up.

The Middle East outfit have offered the Everton marksman a two-year contract worth €5m.

Besiktas are tipped to pull out all the stops to bring Tosun back to the club in the summer and it remains to be seen whether they can get a deal over the line for him, with Al-Hilal also keen on his services.
