The Whites are likely to see Raphinha leave Elland Road this summer and are set to sell him to Chelsea.

Leeds have identified PSV Eindhoven star Gakpo as a player that can bolster their attack and it has been claimed that they have even contacted his agents over a move.

But, the winger has also attracted interest from several top clubs across Europe this summer, with the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City and Bayern Munich credited with interest.

Tottenham Hotspur, another outfit that have Champions League football on the agenda next season have enquired about the winger while Leeds remain keen on him.

However, according to Dutch magazine Voetbal International, Gakpo has not ruled out the possibility of joining a mid-table club in the ongoing window.

The 23-year-old is not against the idea of joining a club that could be a stepping stone for him before ultimately signing for a top European side, just like his compatriot Georginio Wijnaldum did, leaving PSV Eindhoven for Newcastle United.

In addition to playing on the flanks, Gakpo is capable of operating in the striker’s role and it remains to be seen where he ends up playing this season.
