Hammers boss David Moyes wants to bolster his attack in the ongoing window and West Ham have been linked with strong interest in Villarreal star Danjuma.

But West Ham are not the only Premier League club chasing the Dutchman as Newcastle also have him on their transfer radar.

It has been claimed that Danjuma is on the verge of leaving Villarreal for a Premier League club with West Ham and Newcastle touted to be among his likeliest destinations.

However, the Londoners are tipped to end their pursuit of Danjuma as boss Moyes is not fully convinced about snapping him up.

The Scot has reservations about adding Danjuma to his squad this summer and prefers alternative options, with the club having already handed free agent Jesse Lingard a contract offer.

Lingard managed to impress at the London Stadium while playing on loan from Manchester United in the 2020/21 season and Moyes has been keen on bringing him back to the club for some time.

West Ham fans will be hoping the ex-Red Devil will return to their side, while all eyes will be on which club Danjuma will end up playing next season, should he leave Villarreal with Newcastle still on his tail.
