Gibbs-White has emerged as one of the most in-demand players this summer following a superb season on loan away at Sheffield United.

Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace are keen on snapping the midfielder up this season while he is also a priority target for Everton.

The Toffees have already seen Wolves knock back their initial offer for Gibbs-White, which was in excess of the £20m mark.

But Everton are not planning to give up on their efforts to snare away the midfielder and are continuing talks with the Midlands outfit for him.

Wolves have so far not decided whether they want to cash in on Gibbs-White, but are tipped to allow him to leave for a fee in the £30m range, although Everton are yet to match their valuation.

However, should the Merseyside giants reach an agreement with Wolves over a deal for the 22-year-old, personal terms are expected to be not a problem.

It remains to be seen whether Everton will manage to beat the likes of Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest to Gibbs-White’s services as they continue their push to land him.
