The Whites have seen winger Raphinha leave Elland Road this summer, while they have already roped in a replacement for the Brazilian in Luis Sinisterra.

But Leeds are still in the market for attacking reinforcements, including a striker, while they have also been linked with an interest in wingers as well.

It was claimed earlier this month that the Yorkshire giants have entered talks with FC Zurich over their winger Gnonto.

The 18-year-old has represented Italy on the international stage and is also attracting interest from Serie A outfit Torino, in addition to Leeds.

However, according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.com, Il Toro have paused their efforts to snap up Gnonto as they deem the cost of signing him too high.

Torino did contact the teenager’s entourage over a move for him earlier in the window but have now turned to alternative targets.

Leeds are set to receive an influx of cash from Raphinha’s sale and at present, their top attacking target is Club Brugge man Charles De Ketelaere.

It remains to be seen if they push to take Gnonto to Elland Road.
