Lo Celso’s future at Tottenham is under the scanner as boss Antonio Conte deems the player surplus to requirements at the club.
The Argentine is keen on leaving Spurs as they look to offload him ideally on a permanent deal or at least on loan.
Serie A side Fiorentina are keen on snapping up Lo Celso in the ongoing window and have been in talks with the north London giants over a loan deal for him.
However, according to Italian daily La Nazione, talks between Fiorentina and Tottenham over a move for Lo Celso have not been smooth.
La Viola want to take the midfielder to Italy on loan but want Tottenham to also chip in by paying part of his wages.
But as it stands the north Londoners are not prepared to pay any part of Lo Celso’s salary, which is discouraging news to Fiorentina.
It remains to be seen whether the Florence outfit and Tottenham will reach an agreement over Lo Celso this summer as his future hangs in the air.
