Amadou Onana’s Entourage Stress Everton Desire Despite West Ham Option

Everton have tabled a bid with Lille for the signature of West Ham target Amadou Onana as they push to take him to Goodison Park this summer, with the player’s entourage admitting the Toffees are who he wants.

The 20-year-old is a West Ham target and the Hammers have been trying to get a deal done to take him to the London Stadium.

But West Ham are yet to agree on personal terms with the player and are now facing the prospect of seeing the deal hijacked by Everton.

Onana’s entourage are clear that their client wants a Goodison Park move and told Belgian daily Het Nieuwsblad: “Amadou wants to go to Everton.”

The Toffees want to sign another midfielder following the imminent return from Idrissa Gueye from Paris Saint-Germain.

Onana is the player they want and the player prefers a move to Everton over West Ham this summer.

The Merseyside club are quietly confident of getting a deal done given the fact that Onana wants to move to Goodison Park.

West Ham are still in the race but Everton have their nose ahead in the pursuit of the midfielder.
