Lo Celso is one of the players Tottenham are looking to offload this summer as boss Antonio Conte has deemed him surplus to requirements at the club.

The Argentine has admirers in the shape of his former side Villarreal, where he spent the latter half of last season on loan, and Serie A side Fiorentina.

Lo Celso sees Villarreal as his preferred destination but they are not making any progress in their efforts to sign him, while it has been claimed that he has agreed on a potential move with La Viola.

And according to Italian daily La Nazione, Fiorentina’s hierarchy are set to meet with Lo Celso’s representatives on Thursday for what could be a crucial discussion.

The Florence outfit are tipped to be prepared to meet Tottenham’s valuation of the Argentine by adding bonus payments related to how well they perform in the Europa Conference League.

In addition to Fiorentina and Villarreal, it has emerged that Napoli have enquired about the Spurs man, but their interest in the player is yet to progress.

Fiorentina and Villarreal are the clubs currently vying for Lo Celso’s signature, with the Italians currently leading the race.
