Sarr is a player in demand in the ongoing window with a number of Premier League clubs looking to sign him this summer.

The Watford star wants to play in the top flight where he has drawn the admiring glances of Crystal Palace, who have already submitted a bid for him.

Following the Hornets’ relegation to the Championship, Newcastle were among the clubs that were offered the chance to sign Sarr, but no move materialised then with the Magpies pursuing deals for a number of targets higher up on their wish list.

With just under two weeks remaining in the window, the Tyneside giants remain on the hunt for players to bolster their frontline and it has been claimed that they are still interested in snapping up Sarr.

However, as it stands, Newcastle have not rekindled their interest in a potential swoop for the Senegal international.

Newcastle have a clutch of attacking targets on their transfer radar at present but Sarr is currently not among them.

It remains to be seen whether the Magpies will turn to Sarr in the remaining days of the window, should they fail with their efforts to land any of their current targets.
