The 20-year-old left-back was sent out on loan at Famalicao in July, but his loan spell was cut short after the player failed to feature in any of the first four games for the Portuguese outfit.
And after returning from his short loan spell, Beck signed a season-long deal with Bolton and has made five outings for the League One side so far this season.
Evatt is of the view that the young left-back has shown a strong mindset and fantastic attitude after his difficult spell with Famalicao earlier this season.
The Bolton boss stressed that Beck has the eagerness to learn and improve his game and added that the player is a joy to work with.
“Owen has come to a club after having a difficult time in Portugal not really getting any game time and he’s had to suffer and he’s had to wait, but his attitude, his mindset, his mentality has been first class”, Evatt was quoted as saying by The Bolton News.
“There has not been one issue for me and in fact, the complete opposite, he wants to come in, he wants to learn, he wants to understand what he needs to do better, why he needs to do better, and that’s a pleasure to work with.”
Bolton will take on Bristol Rovers on Friday and Beck will be eyeing a spot in Evatt’s starting eleven against Joey Barton’s side.
