The Brighton starlet joined Sheffield United on a loan stint in the summer, but he has struggled for game time at Bramall Lane.

Khadra has made only four starts in the Championship and did not play in the last three league games for Sheffield United; he has been keen for Brighton to recall him.

The German is now set to end his time at Sheffield United, with Brighton looking at Birmingham as a more suitable destination.

It is claimed that the winger is in line to switch to St. Andrew’s on loan.

Khadra also spent the previous season in the Championship, with Blackburn Rovers, when he had more success as he made 27 appearances and contributed with four goals and three assists.

The German youth international’s contract with parent club Brighton expires at the end of the season and it remains to be seen if his deal is extended before he goes out on loan again.

If the move to Birmingham does happen, Khadra will be hoping to have more success than he did with Sheffield United in the first half of the season.
