Weghorst has impressed this season not only for Besiktas on loan but also with the Netherlands squad in the World Cup.

 

With Manchester United on the lookout for a striker, Weghorst has become of interest to the Red Devils and the Burnley star himself has fuelled speculation.

 

 

After scoring in a recent game for Besiktas, Weghorst appeared to say farewell to the fans of the Turkish club.

 

Cziommer insisted that there was no problem with Weghorst and what the Dutch star did was only a celebration after scoring the goal.

 

 

Now though the agent has held a meeting with Besiktas this morning amid exit talk, according to Turkish broadcaster TRT Spor.

 

Cziommer arrived at the training facilities of Besiktas, Nevzat Demir Tesisleri, and spoke with the Turkish club’s sporting director Ceyhun Kazanci about the striker leaving.

 

 

In 18 matches for Besiktas this season, Weghorst has scored nine times and provided four assists and he could be a potential replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United.
