Ouattara joined the French side from Majestic FC in the summer of 2020 and last season he broke into Lorient’s first team.
The 20-year-old right winger has scored six goals while also providing assists in his 17 Ligue 1 appearances so far this season.
With his impressive performance, Ouattara has drawn interest from several Premier League clubs in the January transfer window.
Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City are admirers of Ouattara and are suggested to have identified him as a transfer target for January.
However, it has been claimed that Bournemouth are closing in on the Lorient star and are close to taking him to the Vitality Stadium.
It has been suggested that Bournemouth owner Bill Foley is close to purchasing a 30 per cent stake in Lorient and his prospective involvement with the club is pushing the deal.
And It remains to be seen whether Leicester City will swoop in with a bid to snap the player away from Bournemouth.
