Aubameyang is said to be unhappy at Chelsea and is believed to be keen on moving on just four months after joining the club.

Thomas Tuchel was sacked days after he signed for Chelsea and the Gabonese has failed to gel with new manager Graham Potter.

Barcelona are reportedly considering taking him back to the Nou Camp if they manage to move on Memphis Depay this month.

A loan move is being mooted, but according to Catalan daily Sport, Chelsea have taken a clear stance on any deal for Aubameyang’s exit.

It has been claimed that Chelsea would not consider paying any part of his wages if he wants to leave on loan.

The Blues are in no mood to subsidise his wages in order to help another club sign  him for the latter half of the season.

For the moment, nothing is imminent and Aubameyang’s future is not likely to be sorted in the coming days.

Aubameyang cannot play for any other club other than Chelsea or Barcelona this season, according to FIFA rules on representing three clubs in a single season.
